Game Design Flash Prototyper

RESPONSIBILITIES
 Develop interactive prototypes used to test gameplay mechanics and menu flows.
 Contribute to elaborate gameplay mechanics.
 Work closely with lead designer to systemize and develop game prototypes and resulting balancing and tweaks.
 Produce basic 2D Flash animations.

REQUIREMENTS
Attributes
 Organized and able to work within a group.
 Quick, adaptive and innovation-driven.
 Independent and self-directed.
 Possesses a strong interest in video games, particularly portable games.

Knowledge
 Excellent Adobe Flash ActionScript 3.0 programming skills.
 Familiarity with Flash essentials like the scene, timeline, animations, symbols, etc.
 Familiarity with production tools and multimedia software.
 Strong communicating skills (in French and English).

Work Experience & Education
 University degree, or equivalent.

DESIRABLES
 Knowledge and skills in object oriented programming.
 Two (2) years experience in interactive product design.
 Video game industry experience.
