This is a scam!!!! I wanted to rent this apartment this weekend with a girlfriend. I spoke to a man named Jarno, email was abcmontreal @ gmail.com who seemed allright and I rented the place from him, I wired him $200 deposit and got a phone number and an adress from him. When we arrived in Montreal, we went to the adress given and to no avail - we called him over 20 times, sent text messages and emails and had no response. This was simply too good to be true! Do NOT get involved in this, and make the same mistake as I did. It ended up leaving us stranded in a foreign city!!! And now I am in a legal process involved with my bank and police to file fraud charges against this man.
BE CAREFUL ABOUT BOOKING ANYTHING OFF CRAIGSLIST!!!! THERE IS A REASON WHY THEY HAVE THE SCAM WARNINGS ON CRAIGSLIST! I AM A VICTIM OF A FRAUD!!!! USE YOUR BEST JUDGEMENT AND GOOD LUCK WITH FINDING WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR!!!!
