Our client is one of the premier providers of home and office products worldwide. Since their inception over 50 years ago they have dominated the market. They currently have an opportunity for a Technical Specialist for their main office in Montreal.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is very technical in nature but who is ready and able to specialize in peripheral repair, training and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
• Able to provide technical support mainly for peripherals – phone, person, webinar
• Able to conduct training, create training materials, presentations in both French and English
• Able to perform quality assurance tests on products, take apart and put together products, log reports for manufacturing country
Requirements:
• Bilingual (French/English, written and spoken)
• DEC
• A+ certification an asset
• 2 or more years of experience in the field of computer peripheral repair
• Excellent repair and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail
