I have a small room in a shared appartment building downtown available from dec. 18th to dec. 28th. Flexible dates, just ask. Downtown location, a two-minute walk from Guy Concordia Metro and five minutes to Atwater. Close to Concordia University, downtown bar district, markets, pharmaprix, postal office etc.

It's located in a secure building full of Canadian and international students and young professionals. Included in the rent is acces to shared (equipped) kitchen and bathroom, wireless internet, electricity/hydro and heating. Hostel standards, hostel vibe, but with privacy :-D

Let me tell you, this is a _very_ small room, barely no floor space. But it comes with a comfortable single bed, a drawer, a desk and chair. I'll wash my linens/towels for you to borrow (if you like), but you need to bring your own blanket/sleeping bag.

Rent for the ten days is 150 which is exactly 1/3rd of my total rent a month. Rent is paid up front when you get the keys. I don't care if you are male or female, where you're from, what language you speak and why you're here, but I need to point out that the building has a strict no drugs policy � just so you know. Alcohol is ok and there are usually gatherings in the kitchens on weekends. Socialising is by no means mandatory, but you have the opportunity if you want to.

Hi everyone,

So one of our rooms is going to be open for sublet starting approximately from December 15, 2009 to August 31, 2010. The room has it's own closet, comes with a single bed and an armour. We are looking for a roommate that is fun, cool, does his/her own dishes, is respectful of other people's space, and someone within our age (either a student or young working professional). You would be living with two other, super chill roommates - one roommate is male and goes to McGill in 4th and final year of studies while other is female and goes to Concordia/works part time.

About the place - it is a two floor, three bedroom condo located in the lower plateau. Cross streets are St. Dominique and Prince Arthur so super close to St. Laurent for bars, clubs and nightlife but also close enough to metro/bus stops and grocery stores. Everything is very brand new with hardwood floors, open concept living room and kitchen with stainless steel appliances (fridge, stove and microwave), bathroom with washer and dryer included, we have wireless internet which would be split 3 ways (super cheap) and lastly, we have access to our own private terrace!

Rent is $600/month.

Also, I am subletting my room from December 21st to January 7th. If you are interested in having a great place to stay for those two weeks and a half, please let me know and we can arrange something.
