The apartment has tons of space (1100 square feet) and versatility. There are 3 closed rooms, including one large 'double salon' which could be used as a master bedroom or living room. There is a large living/dining room next to another smaller room with a skylight. The kitchen is also spacious. There are balconies in the front and back.
The apartment gets lots of light, so even the winter months feel cheerful and bright. Furniture included as well as a piano, washer and dryer, dishwasher, and desktop computer. Children's furniture, accessories and toys are also available if needed. Use of our community garden plot just up the street is also a possibility if you are staying into the warmer months.
The location is excellent. Our street is tree-lined and neighbours are friendly. We are less than a block from quality independent stores and cafes, like 'Les Copains D'Abord' and 'La Maison du Roti', and within 2 blocks of several bars and concert venues. There is a small park and playground 2 minutes away and Parc La Fontaine is about 10 minutes by foot. There are many families with young children in the area as well as students.
Public transport is very accessible. The Mont-Royal metro is within walking distance (about 10 minutes). There are several major bus routes nearby, so downtown and Parc du Mont-Royal are easy to access.
Our lovely, affectionate and very low-maintenance cat needs someone to look after her in our absence.
