DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop/review test plans, test cases, and other technical documentation.
- Execute manual and automated test cases.
- Adhere to bug tracking standards, procedures and techniques.
- Participate in continuous quality assurance process improvement efforts
- Candidate will be expected to work with developers and business users to define the necessary test coverage and establish successful testing practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess in-depth knowledge of the following:
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Understanding of testing methodologies and concepts is a must.
- Strong experience in testing web based applications.
- Experience scripting and executing automated test suites is a big plus.
- Knowledge of authoring SQL queries
- Analytical, pro-active and detail oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in dealing within IT and with providing support to end users.
- UNIX experience is a plus.
- Experience in ERP technology is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience.
- Meticulous analytical and organizational skills.
- Proven ability on prior jobs/assignments with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, multi-task to meet critical deliverable dates, and strive for results.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
