Our client is looking for a well-rounded developer with experience with, Perl, C/C++ , Relational databases, & Java web development, including familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and application servers.
Job description;
-Design, code, and troubleshoot major and minor features while focusing on a high-quality user experience.
-Take initiative to improve the user interface and incorporate new technologies.
-Proactively work with other engineers to ensure consistent design and compatibility with all interfacing products.
-Maintain existing code.
Requirements ;
- Minimum of 5-6 years experience working with above mentioned technologies.
- Hands on experience with technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, DHTML.
- Some development experience in a Linux/Unix environment, including:
- Bash shell or Perl scripting
- Familiarity with Linux CLI
- Experience with UI design, mockups, and usability guidelines desired.
- Preference will be given for knowledge or experience with C++, J2EE, JSP, Ant, Web Services, SOAP, XML, and Photoshop.
- BSc. degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- English and French required.
