Our client is part of a publically traded online company, they offer leading edge online content and monetization solutions for small to mid-sized online companies among some of their online marketing solutions are keyword-based online advertising, banner advertising, referral programs, content programs and more. They offer numerous pay-per-install programs.
These solutions have proven to provide clients (affiliates) with better online visibility, ROI, and increase traffic on their websites all while making a profit on advertising our clients products!

Objective:
This position is responsible for building and maintaining quality online partnerships. The right candidate will have at least 1 year of online sales and marketing experience in search engine marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization, social online media or online banner advertising, preferably a background in affiliate management

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prospect, negotiate, close and maintain deals with top online sites, and content producers.
• Build and manage a strong, effective online client base by creating partnerships with web publishers for online marketing purposes, foster these partnerships to make sure earnings continue to grow
• Work closely with the company marketing and development departments to ensure timely and accurate flow of information and action items between the company and its partners/affiliates.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to Director of Business Development.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
 Minimum 1-2 years in an online business development and account management role in affiliate management, engine marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization, social online media or online banner advertising, preferably a background in affiliate management
 BA preferred.
 Strong outbound sales skills required (phone, email, instant messenger, presentation).
 Good understanding of online advertising industry, content industries, trends, and media.
 Strong networking skills, with the ability to develop and maintain good rapport with partners and developers.
 Demonstrated proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PPT. HTML knowledge is a plus.
 Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
 Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate and prioritize effectively
 Must be resourceful and a self-starter with excellent English oral and written communication skills (additional languages considered an asset!)
 Webmaster experience is a plus
