SUMMARY OF POSITION
CLIENT is currently looking for talented individuals to join its Mobile Middleware Service (MMS) Center of Excellence, a group within CLIENT’s Global Services (SGS) / Global Operations organization.
Using a number of next-generation software and wireless technologies, the MMS helps Air Transport Industry organizations mobilize their business processes and applications to increase the efficiency of their workforce.
In order to maintain the highest level of service availability and facilitate the deployment of new solutions leveraging the MMS, CLIENT has decided to establish a Center Of Excellence dedicated to the platform. The MMS CoE is responsible for maintaining a high degree of expertise in the MMS software, hardware and networking infrastructure while delivering a number of provisioning and product support services. The CoE team requires members with a wide range of technical skills and a desire to learn new concepts and technologies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary mission of the MMS CoE is to act as the primary interface for Customers and Engineering Groups to ensure highest availability and maximum performance of the Mobile Middleware Service.
The position incumbents will be required to be on call 7 days a week and may be required to work shifts or extended hours in order to provide 24 hour support to the customers.
Provisioning and Configuration
• Provide product expertise and consultative support to solution development projects pertaining to the Mobile Middleware service
• Support end-to End acceptance tests with customers
• Perform Mobile Middleware provisioning related to the introduction of new deployments onto the middleware platform
• Perform remote upgrades or modifications on the production systems
• Participate in configuration management of platform components
• Manage Static Data for billing management
• Ensure that process with Ordering team regarding status of provisioning is followed
Monitoring
• Perform proactive monitoring of system activity through utilization of provided monitoring tools and procedures, as well as daily analysis of performance reports, traffic figures and system utilization measurements.
• Open trouble tickets for any anomalies found while monitoring the service and ensure that proper escalation takes place.
• Perform periodic system analysis for potential quality of service impacts
• Open tickets to log incidents or problems detected via monitoring activities
• Develop internal tools to assist in reaching efficiency targets
• Monitor billing mediation activity, escalate issues to 3rd support & ensure resolution with Billing
Incident and Problem Management
• Provide Level 2 troubleshooting and product support on the service during regular business hours
• Provide Level 2 (on-pager) 24-hour support to CLIENT’s Service Desk for critical production issues
• Execute documented corrective actions or follow escalation procedures
• Report product or solution problems to engineering, and follow-up on resolution
• Document known problems and standard corrective actions for common problems
• Lead root cause analysis post mortems and produce the resulting initial and final reports based on established service level
• Ensure customer satisfaction through reporting, follow-up and appropriate problem closure as part of Service Level management
Change Management
• Approve any in service impacting maintenances as part of change management
• Be advised of impending functional changes and coordinate changes with customers and other involved parties
• Act as central point of coordination for system software, hardware and/or network changes, and customer requests
• Driver of any change (timing, risk level review, approval, etc)
Capacity Management
• Monitor key capacity indicators
• Drive actions to rectify capacity shortcomings
Manage SLA
• Track and send monthly progress reports of ongoing projects, problems or issues regarding maintenance support, system performance, and customer issues.
• Follow up daily on customer problems.
• Ensure supplier SLAs are respected.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• 4 to 8 years experience in an information systems or telecommunications industry
• Strong knowledge of XML and related concepts (e.g. XPath, UEL)
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of Unix-like environments (preferably Red Hat Linux)
• Previous experience of Oracle and other SQL DB and tools required
• Knowledge and/or experience of the Appear Network AIQ platform’ software modules is a definite asset
• Must have experience with system / network architecture, troubleshooting and shell script programming
• Possess solid analytical and trouble shooting skills
• Must be familiar with J2EE environments and servlet containers, including application servers such as Tomcat and JBoss
• Must have experience with or exposure to large deployments in a telecommunications environment as well as dealing with customer issues under time pressure

RESPONSIBILITY.
EA Mobile has an emulated cell phone network consisting of IP RAN and PDSN. The contractor will be responsible for troubleshooting handset connectivity issues to the emulated network. Around 70% of the handsets have both voice and data-connectivity; remaining 30% of the handsets don’t have data connectivity. We are looking for someone who is an expert in this field to identify the problems that is blocking the data calls.

Relevant de la gestionnaire principale, stratégies de technologie de l’information, le rôle d’administrateur de réseau consiste à assurer une opération stable du réseau informatique de l’entreprise. Cela inclut l’installation, la configuration, le maintien, le soutien et l’optimisation de tout le matériel, des logiciels et des liaisons de données. La personne occupant ce poste analyse et résout également les problèmes informatiques liés au matériel ou aux logiciels de l’utilisateur final, et ce, en temps opportun et de façon adéquate.
Les responsabilités principales comprennent notamment les tâches suivantes :
• Fournir un soutien quotidien pour tous les aspects de communication avec les utilisateurs finaux/le réseau – mobilité cellulaire, système Blackberry, réseaux de communication externe, système téléphonique (MITEL), WAN BT-Infonet, mise à jour Cisco
• Effectuer tout le câblage (téléphone, réseau, bureaux à cloisons, caméras, accès portes d’entrée, réseau sans fil). Assurer le maintien optimal des armoires de répartition et la documentation de tout le mappage des ports, et ce, en temps opportun.
• Effectuer le maintien de tous les commutateurs, concentrateurs, réseau local virtuel, le réseautage en général et les machines virtuelles.
• Effectuer le maintien de l’annuaire Microsoft Active – site et configuration du domaine, groupes annuaire, utilisateurs, ordinateurs, profils d’accès, système de noms de domaine local et interne Brother, système WINS, disque partagé, système d’échange, serveurs SQL, copies de sécurité.
• Déterminer les horaires de mise à jour/correction de logiciels, évaluer l’impact sur l’entreprise avec l’assistance de l’administrateur, sécurité de réseau et en coordonner l’implantation avec les gestionnaires/chefs de service attitrés.
• Assurer que tous les problèmes et leurs solutions sont documentés dans une banque de données centralisée.
• Documenter et maintenir tous les processus et procédures liés au réseau et les réviser avec l’administrateur, Sécurité de réseau
La personne idéale possède :
• Minimum de cinq ans d’expérience en tant qu’administrateur de réseau
• Certification/formation postsecondaire en administration de réseau
• Expérience de travail dans un milieu technique complexe
• Doit posséder au moins une certification (commutateurs Cisco, routeurs, protocole WAP, pare-feu, téléphonie VoIP/IP)
• Expertise avec les systèmes d’exploitation Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista, Windows 2000/2003)
• Niveau expert avec Exchange Server 2003/2007
• Habilité à travailler en collaboration dans un milieu énergétique avec des membres d’équipe et les clients à l’interne
• Compétences étendues de communication verbale et à l’écrit en français et en anglais
• Motivé, capable de travailler de façon autonome, avec peu de supervision et disponible pour du soutien après les heures normales de bureau, au besoin.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Information Technology Strategies your role as Network Administrator is to ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer network. This includes, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. The individual in this role also analyzes and resolves end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
Key Responsibilities will include, and are not limited to:
• Provide day to day support all end-user/network aspects of Communications – Cellular mobility, Blackberry system, external communication networks, phone system (MITEL), WAN BT-Infonet, Cisco update
• Perform all wiring (phone, network, cubicles, cameras, door access, wireless network). Ensure wiring closets are optimally maintained and all port mapping is documented in a timely manner.
• Maintain all switches, hubs, VLAN, general networking, VM Ware
• Maintain Microsoft Active directory – site and domain configuration, active directory groups, users, computers, access profiles, local and Brother internal DNS, WINS system, shared drive, exchange system, SQL servers, backups
• Determine software upgrade/patching schedules, evaluate impacts on the business with assistance from the Network Security Administrator and coordinate implementation with primary business owners
• Ensure all issues and their resolutions are documented in a central database
• Document and maintain all network related process and procedures and review them with Network Security Administrator
As the ideal candidate you possess:
• Minimum five (5) years experience as a Network Administrator
• Post secondary Network training/certification
• Experience working with complex technical environments
• Must have at least one vendor certification (Cisco switches, routers, wireless AP’s, firewalls, VoIP/IP Telephony)
• Expertise in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (XP, Vista, Windows 2000/2003)
• Expert level in Exchange Server 2003/2007)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a highly charged environment with fellow team members and internal customers

Troubleshoot, Install and Repair Workstations in retail stores (including hardware and software for POS systems, connect Internet and credit card processing systems).
Server Installations: Troubleshoot, install and configure Windows based servers (Exchange, IIS, configure User Accounts and Domains, File and Print Servers, DHCP and DNS, ). Verify network integrity (cabling, bottlenecks and other hardware issues)
Install and configure office workstations (Outlook, Anti-virus, Microsoft Office products)
Network: Installing and configuring network. Installation of routers, bridges and switches. Running cables, installing wall plates, passing wires, testing connection. Installing phone systems a plus.
Requirements:
Windows Environments (2000, XP, Vista , Windows 7, NT, 2003, 2008)
Networking Experience (both Hardware and Software).
Microsoft Server Active Directory, Terminal Server, DNS, DHCP, File and Print Server configuration.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, IIS and FTP.
3-4 years experience is a must.
MUST speak English and French fluently.
MUST have a vehicle.
Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to put extra hours when needed.
May have contracts on the weekend.
Hardware Skills: Solid knowledge of networking components and infrastructure including server architecture and hardware, RAID, backup systems, WANs, LANs, routers, firewalls, PCs, PBX and voicemail systems. Knowledge of control systems (embedded and PLC) would be an asset. IBM XSeries, IBM DS4700 SAN, HP DL Series, HP MSA 2000 SANs, VMWare ESX, ESXi, Virtual Center, DRS, HA, VMotion and Linux.

Nous sommes présentement à la recherche d’un administrateur système Unix/Linux pour joindre notre équipe en place. Ce poste consiste à supporter autant les clients internes qu’externes. La mission de l’équipe IT est d’assurer un service de qualité sur une base de 24x7 tout en minimisant les interruptions de service et que les nouvelles solutions soient déployées en maintenant un service de très haut niveau.
Les responsabilités de l'administrateur système Unix/Linux englobent tous les aspects concernant les solutions clients, les déploiements et l’implantation. Opérer les systèmes d’exploitation et les logiciels de support, la sécurité, la résolution de problèmes est la responsabilité d’ensemble d’administrer ces systèmes.
Principales tâches et responsabilités :
•Administrer l’environnement des serveurs Solaris (Solaris 11);
•Résoudre les systèmes d’opération, logiciels d’application, le matériel et les problèmes de réseau sur des plateformes variées
•Installation de logiciels, maintenance et mise à niveau
•Installation d’équipements, maintenance et mise à niveau;
•Recherche et résolution de problèmes;
•S’assure du haut niveau de sécurité sur les serveurs;
•Création et maintien d’une documentation détaillée des infrastructures IT;
•Manipule les dossiers data et le registre afin de produire un rapport de statistiques précis;
•Fournir un support aux clients et l’infrastructure interne UNIX. Ceci implique d’être interactif au niveau de la solution de problèmes et la maintenance, répondre aux clients incluant les demandes internes, déploiement des solutions clients, installations et mise à niveau, et s’assurer de l’intégrité de l’ensemble de la solution.
•Fournir une couverture de support 24x7 durant les heures d’appels, assiste dans la planification et l’implantation des infrastructures et réglementation des systèmes Unix.
Qualifications et habilités
•Expertise confirmée dans la capacité de pouvoir supporter des projets complexes avec des enjeux multiples;
•Forte expertise en communication et habilitée à présenter des concepts complexes d’une manière concise, précise et simplifiée autant verbalement que par écrit;
•Habilité exceptionnel à résoudre des problèmes d’une manière logique et méthodique;
•Excellente maîtrise dans son organisation d’affaires et habile à remettre un travail d’une façon professionnel dans un délai restreint;

Pré requis
•Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience dans la gérance des systèmes Unix de production mi-moyenne et grande incluant de l’expérience dans l’implantation d’applications au niveau entreprise dans l’environnement Unix;
•Expérience de travail dans un milieu complexe de serveurs multi plateforme dans un environnement réseau;
•Dois être disponible sur appel 24x7x365 pour assurer un leadership IT, incluant le soir, fin de semaine et jours fériés;
•Expérience dans la conception, l’implantation et le support d’un architecture sécurisé dans un environnement Unix/Linux est essentiels;
•Forte connaissance de la sécurité Unix/Linux. Connaissance des standards de sécurité data, principes sécuritaires et plusieurs technologies réseaux;
•Habilité à exécuter des analyses de performance et mise au point d’OS et les niveaux d’application.

•Contrôle des solutions tel que Nagios, Zenoss et RRD;
•Expérience avec des systèmes de haut niveau et de distribution;

We are currently looking for a Unix/Linux Engineer to join our technical team. This position consists of supporting internal and external customers. The goal of the IT team is to ensure services are available on a 24x7 basis with minimal interruptions to service and that new solutions are deployed with the highest quality of service.
The responsibilities of the Unix/Linux Engineer involve all aspects of customer solution sizing and deployment, implementation, Operating system and other software support, security, troubleshooting and overall administration of those systems.
Primary Tasks and Accountabilities:
•Administer Linux and UNIX Server Environments (Red Hat, CentOS, Solaris);
•Resolve operating system, application software, hardware, and network problems on various platforms;

•Research and troubleshooting;
•Ensure high level of server security;

•Manipulate data and log files to provide extensive statistical reporting.

•Provide 24x7 support coverage during on-call rotation, assist with the planning and implementation of Unix system infrastructure and policies, perform special projects, and other duties as required.

Poste : Administrateur de systèmes – responsable de nuit
Principales fonctions :
Relevant du chef d'équipe, administrateur de systèmes, l'administrateur de systèmes et responsable de nuit encadre fonctionnellement tous les employés de l’équipe de nuit du service à la clientèle. Il est aussi responsable de fournir un support technique de niveau avancé et une assistance sur l'ensemble de nos services web à notre clientèle. Il supporte les conseillers au service à la clientèle dans les tâches régulières, effectue des suivis et apporte des corrections aux différents enjeux rencontrés par les systèmes web (Piratage, Spam etc).
Responsabilités :
