JOB DESCRIPTION<br>
Service Operations Specialists – Montreal<br>
SUMMARY OF POSITION<br>
CLIENT is currently looking for talented individuals to join its Mobile Middleware Service (MMS) Center of Excellence, a group within CLIENT’s Global Services (SGS) / Global Operations organization.<br>
Using a number of next-generation software and wireless technologies, the MMS helps Air Transport Industry organizations mobilize their business processes and applications to increase the efficiency of their workforce.<br>
In order to maintain the highest level of service availability and facilitate the deployment of new solutions leveraging the MMS, CLIENT has decided to establish a Center Of Excellence dedicated to the platform. The MMS CoE is responsible for maintaining a high degree of expertise in the MMS software, hardware and networking infrastructure while delivering a number of provisioning and product support services. The CoE team requires members with a wide range of technical skills and a desire to learn new concepts and technologies.<br>
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES<br>
The primary mission of the MMS CoE is to act as the primary interface for Customers and Engineering Groups to ensure highest availability and maximum performance of the Mobile Middleware Service.<br>
<br>
The position incumbents will be required to be on call 7 days a week and may be required to work shifts or extended hours in order to provide 24 hour support to the customers. <br>
Provisioning and Configuration<br>
•	Provide product expertise and consultative support to solution development projects pertaining to the Mobile Middleware service<br>
•	Support end-to End acceptance  tests with customers<br>
•	Perform Mobile Middleware provisioning related to the introduction of new deployments onto the middleware platform<br>
•	Perform remote upgrades or modifications on the production systems <br>
•	Participate in configuration management of platform components <br>
•	Manage Static Data for billing management<br>
•	Ensure that process with Ordering team regarding status of provisioning is followed<br>
Monitoring<br>
•	Perform proactive monitoring of system activity through utilization of provided monitoring tools and procedures, as well as daily analysis of performance reports, traffic figures and system utilization measurements. <br>
•	Open trouble tickets for any anomalies found while monitoring the service and ensure that proper escalation takes place.<br>
•	Perform periodic system analysis for potential quality of service impacts<br>
•	Open tickets to log incidents or problems detected via monitoring activities<br>
•	Develop internal tools to assist in reaching efficiency targets<br>
•	Monitor billing mediation activity, escalate issues to 3rd support & ensure resolution with Billing<br>
Incident and Problem Management<br>
•	Provide Level 2 troubleshooting and product support on the service during regular business hours<br>
•	Provide Level 2 (on-pager) 24-hour support to CLIENT’s Service Desk for critical production issues<br>
•	Execute documented corrective actions or follow escalation procedures<br>
•	Report product or solution problems to engineering, and follow-up on resolution<br>
•	Document known problems and standard corrective actions for common problems<br>
•	Lead root cause analysis post mortems and produce the resulting initial and final reports based on established service level<br>
•	Ensure customer satisfaction through reporting, follow-up and appropriate problem closure  as part of Service Level management<br>
Change Management<br>
•	Approve any in service impacting maintenances as part of change management<br>
•	Be advised of impending functional changes and coordinate changes with customers and other involved parties<br>
•	Act as central point of coordination for system software, hardware and/or network changes, and customer requests <br>
•	Driver of any change (timing, risk level review, approval, etc)<br>
<br>
Capacity Management<br>
•	Monitor key capacity indicators<br>
•	Drive actions to rectify capacity shortcomings<br>
Manage SLA<br>
•	Track and send monthly progress reports of ongoing projects, problems or issues regarding maintenance support, system performance, and customer issues.<br>
•	Follow up daily on customer problems.<br>
•	Ensure supplier SLAs are respected.<br>
<br>
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS<br>
•	Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent <br>
•	4 to 8 years experience in an information systems or telecommunications industry<br>
•	Strong knowledge of XML and related concepts (e.g. XPath, UEL)<br>
•	Hands-on experience and knowledge of Unix-like environments (preferably Red Hat Linux)<br>
•	Previous experience of Oracle and other SQL DB and tools required<br>
•	Knowledge and/or experience of the Appear Network AIQ platform’ software modules is a definite asset<br>
•	Must have experience with system / network architecture, troubleshooting and shell script programming<br>
•	Possess solid analytical and trouble shooting skills<br>
•	Must be familiar with J2EE environments and servlet containers, including application servers such as Tomcat and JBoss<br>
•	Must have experience with or exposure to large deployments in a telecommunications environment as well as dealing with customer issues under time pressure<br>
•	Experience in routing and internet protocols, LAN/WAN technologies, VPN, Firewalls, Security<br>
•	Must have an interest in mobile networks and wireless protocols<br>
•	Familiarity with the ITIL framework and its concepts is a definite asset<br>

The contractor/consultant should have extensive knowledge in CDMA and EVDO technology, with in-depth understanding of both protocols and working knowledge of device testing, familiar with Qualcomm's QPST tool. Experience in setting up CDMA testing lab with PDSN. <br>

RESPONSIBILITY.<br>
EA Mobile has an emulated cell phone network consisting of IP RAN and PDSN. The contractor will be responsible for troubleshooting handset connectivity issues to the emulated network. Around 70% of the handsets have both voice and data-connectivity; remaining 30% of the handsets don’t have data connectivity. We are looking for someone who is an expert in this field to identify the problems that is blocking the data calls.<br>
<br>
DESIRED QUALIFICATION.<br>
<br>
-Handset test experience with CDMA & EVDO networks.<br>
<br>
- Experience in configuring IP RAN devices and PDSN's.<br>
<br>
- Expert level understanding of voice and data path.<br>
<br>
-Minimum of 5 years experience on CDMA & EVDO Technology, with in-depth understating of both protocols and working knowledge of Device Testing. <br>

Poste : Administrateur de systèmes – responsable de nuit<br>

Principales fonctions : <br>

Relevant du chef d'équipe, administrateur de systèmes, l'administrateur de systèmes et responsable de nuit encadre fonctionnellement tous les employés de l’équipe de nuit du service à la clientèle. Il est aussi responsable de fournir un support technique de niveau avancé et une assistance sur l'ensemble de nos services web à notre clientèle. Il supporte les conseillers au service à la clientèle dans les tâches régulières, effectue des suivis et apporte des corrections aux différents enjeux rencontrés par les systèmes web (Piratage, Spam etc).<br>

Responsabilités : <br>
<br>
S’assurer que les employés de l’équipe de nuit sont présents et productifs.<br>
Agir à titre de premier niveau d’escalade pour les problèmes rencontrés par l’équipe de nuit.<br>
Assister la clientèle par le biais de différents moyens de communication (Téléphone, courriel, chat).<br>
Gérer l'ensemble des incidents et les requêtes des clients afin de les régler et rétablir le service rapidement.<br>
Escalader au besoin les problèmes aux autres spécialistes concernés afin d'assurer que les délais de résolutions soient rencontrés; <br>
Participer à la mise en place de la documentation.<br>
Émettre les demandes de service auprès des autres services.<br>
Traiter les demandes en attente de son service.<br>
