Position Goals
• To implement the company’s concept in your business area
• To communicate the company range reflecting its priorities, low price profile and unique offer in a commercial way
• To maintain sales area in "shape as new"
• To develop annual action plan for your business area to execute Business Plan and Commercial goals
• To utilize In-store logistics the company’s way in sales activities and adhere to inventory control procedures
• To provide a positive shopping experience to visitors by ensuring customer convenience standards in sales areas are met or exceeded
• To attract, develop, and inspire co-workers
• To create an environment where the company’s culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers
• To contribute as a member of the sales management team and lead your sales team
Position Requirements
• Proven leadership abilities
• Excellent communication skills and customer focus
• Strategic, analytical and tactical abilities
• Strong interest and knowledge of home furnishings
• Ability to quickly develop in-depth knowledge of local market business conditions and competitive environment
• Ability to build working relationships
• Highly developed merchandising and sales steering knowledge
• Computer literacy
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. (25 kg) as needed
• 2-3 years management experience including internal training programs or 3-5 years retail management experience
• Bilingual in both French and English
Position Details
• High volume, fast-paced retail environment
• Minimal travel
• Reporting to the ASM Sales
• Supervision of Assistant Sales Managers and Sales Co-workers
