Position: Logistics & Account Manager
We are a successful company in the apparel industry and are looking to hire an expert Logistics & Customer Service person to take care of our Major accounts. Reporting to the VP you will act of the account manager for are major customers in the US making sure that orders are processed and shipped on time and with accuracy. The candidate should comfortable with EDI and managing third party warehouses. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of our logistics department.
Job description:
• Managing the order process (from receipt of the order to final invoicing).
• Coordinating with third party warehouses to ensure orders are processed correctly.
•Managing the preparation of shipping documents (tickets, picking slips, etc...).
•Follow up with import department and overseas to coordinate the arrival of goods.
•Review customer orders and handling all delivery issues.
• Reviewing and approving invoices for related expenses (shipping, warehousing, etc...).
• Following up on customer charge-backs / compliance issues relating to shipping.
Job requirements:
• Working knowledge of EDI (expert considered an Asset)
• Experience in working with third party warehouses.
• Comfortable working in a high volume computerized environment.
• Comfortable with Excel.
• Experience in a similar position.
