<description><![CDATA[Rainforest Alliance (RA) est un organisme international sans but lucratif qui œuvre pour préserver la biodiversité et assurer des moyens de subsistance durables en transformant les pratiques de gestion du territoire, les pratiques commerciales et le comportement des consommateurs.  Établie au Canada et dans le monde entier, et ayant son quartier général à New York, l’Alliance travaille auprès de personnes dont la survie dépend directement de la terre, les aidant à transformer leur façon de cultiver la nourriture, d’exploiter la forêt et d’accueillir des voyageurs.<br>
SmartWood (SW), un programme de la Rainforest Alliance, a vu le jour en 1989 ; il s’agit du plus ancien programme de certification de gestion forestière à l'échelle mondiale et il a été accrédité par le Forest Sterwardship Council (FSC), un organisme reconnu internationalement. La mission de SW est de faire la promotion d’une gestion forestière durable de par le monde. SmartWood a des bureaux partout au Canada.<br>
<br>
Résumé du poste : <br>
Le(la) coordonateur(trice) sera responsable de gérer une partie du portfolio de certificats d’aménagement forestier de Rainforest Alliance au Québec. Plus précisément, il(elle) sera responsable de :<br>
<br>
Aménagement forestier<br>
•	Gérer la mise en œuvre de pré-audits, audits d’aménagement forestier et audits annuels au Québec, ce qui comprend la préparation des budgets, des contrats de services, la mise sur pied des équipes, la planification logistique, l’appui aux consultants engagés pour faire les audits, la révision des rapports, les relations avec les clients, la coordination de la révision des rapports d’audits par des pairs, la finalisation des rapports ainsi que l’approbation finale des rapports d’audit; <br>
•	Développer et mettre en place des horaires d’audits annuels et assurer la complétion ponctuelle et efficace des audits annuels; <br>
•	Agir en tant qu’auditeur et chef d’équipe de certains pré-audit, audits d’enregistrement et audits annuels; <br>
•	Assurer l’efficacité, le contrôle de qualité et la conformité aux protocoles de certification techniques et administratifs de SW  pour tous les contrats dont il/elle a la responsabilité directe ; <br>
•	Recruter, former et gérer des consultants et auditeurs qualifiés ; <br>
•	En collaboration avec le Directeur Général, fournir le service à la clientèle aux clients présents et potentiels de RA/SW y compris fournir des renseignements sur la certification et les liens avec le marché du bois certifié, guider les clients dans le processus de certification, l’utilisation des logos et le marketing; <br>
•	Développer une forte expertise au sujet des protocoles et politiques d’aménagement forestier de SmartWood et du FSC ; <br>
•	Agir en tant que personne ressource pour répondre aux questions traitant de certification d’aménagement forestier ;<br>
•	Collaborer avec et appuyer les autres employés de SmartWood dans l’exécution et la coordination d’évaluations et d’audits d’aménagement forestier ainsi que d’autres projets SW ; <br>
•	Fournir des opinions pour le développement de politiques et l’amélioration technique du système de certification ; <br>
•	Mener des présentations auprès de clients, Autochtones et organismes environnementaux et assister à des réunions lorsque requis afin de défendre les décisions de certification, faire la promotion de SmartWood et de la certification FSC ; <br>
•	Contribuer au développement de stratégie de recrutement de clients auprès de segments du marché régional et des propriétaires clés ; et <br>
•	Autres tâches assignées par le superviseur. <br>
  <br>
Réalisation de contrats de certification<br>
•	Superviser la réalisation de contrats de certification pour une partie du portfolio québécois;<br>
•	Coordonner le travail des auditeurs afin d’assurer la qualité et la ponctualité des travaux de certification;<br>
•	S’assurer que tous les contrats de certifications sont gérés selon les protocoles et procédures RA/SW appropriés.<br>
<br>
Supervision <br>
•	Superviser des consultants externes selon les politiques de RA et les lois applicables ;<br>
•	Faire les entrevues, engager et former des consultants ;<br>
•	Planifier, déléguer et diriger le travail des consultants ;<br>
•	Évaluer la performance ; vérifier les plaintes et résoudre les problèmes.<br>
<br>
Note : Une proportion très significative des tâches du(de la) coordonnateur(trice) de la certification forestière est de rédiger des rapports d’audit et réviser les rapports préparés par les auditeurs. <br>
<br>
<br>
Exigences du poste :<br>
•	Baccalauréat requis, de préférence en biologie (écologie forestière), foresterie ou domaine connexe;<br>
•	Au moins 3-5 ans d’expérience ;<br>
•	Très fortes compétences écrites et orales en français. Bilinguisme.<br>
•	Connaissance du secteur forestier québécois et de la certification privilégiée ; <br>
•	Solides compétences organisationnelles et souci du détail ;<br>
•	Compétences en gestion de projets, capacité à jongler plusieurs projets à la fois tout en respectant des dates d’échéance ;<br>
•	Expérience dans le domaine de/intérêt marqué pour la protection de l’environnement;<br>
•	Excellentes compétences en informatique (Microsoft Office);<br>
•	Capacité à travailler en équipe ainsi qu’indépendamment, créativité, initiative, souci du détail et excellentes compétences en communication interpersonnelle.<br>

ROLE <br>
<br>
Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Communications, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports the promotion of YES' programs and the planning of its events and conferences. <br>
<br>
RESPONSIBILITIES <br>
<br>
•	Author text for advertisements, collateral, announcements and speaking points; <br>
•	Design marketing collateral including brochures, posters, HTML emails, and website updates; <br>
•	Plan and execute advertising campaigns, including media buys, managing campaign budgets and evaluating the effectiveness of the campaign; <br>
•	Develop and implement a coordinated online marketing strategy to support YES’ reputation and brand building campaigns in key markets; <br>
•	Assist in coordinating events: event promotion, venue sourcing, managing registrations, logistics, catering, etc.; <br>
<br>
REQUIREMENTS <br>
<br>
•	University degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Event Planning, Graphic Design and/or equivalent experience; <br>
•	Strong computer and design skills: Microsoft Office programs (Word, Access, Publisher, FrontPage, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), website design and maintenance (HTML), Adobe CS3 programs (Photoshop, In Design, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Flash, Acrobat Pro); <br>
•	Excellent and proven writing/editing ability: Impeccable English writing skill, with a talent for the concise, creative and consistent use of the language to effectively deliver messages; <br>
•	Up-to-date familiarity with the use of internet, social media & online communication in promotion, brand building and reputation management an asset; <br>
•	Experience planning events: event promotion, venue sourcing, managing registrations, logistics, etc. an asset; <br>
•	Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing priorities, manage processes, and enjoy a fast-paced, unpredictable environment; <br>

Key areas of Responsibility<br>

Programming Responsibilities<br>
•	Assess needs of children through consultation with parents, teachers and educators<br>
•	Develop individual educational plans and curriculum that encourages cooperative and active learning<br>
•	Develop innovative methods and tools that will motivate children to read, write and problem solve<br>
•	Develop and coordinate tasks for educators, specialized tutors and volunteers<br>
•	Implement and coordinate daily education program operations<br>
•	Formally evaluate program on an on-going basis<br>
•	Develop and ensure the implementation of training workshops, training sessions for program staff<br>
•	Work collaboratively with Coordinators to achieve goals and maximize resources<br>

Networking and outreach responsibilities<br>
•	Develop and maintain contacts with schools, parents and other community resources<br>
•	Attend relevant meetings and events and actively participate on selected parent committees<br>

Administrative and supervisory responsibilities:<br>
•	Ensure the completion of all administrative tools, develop program schedules, prepare session reports.<br>
•	Oversee the management of children during programs<br>
•	Supervise, support and evaluate educators<br>
•	Positively participate in team meetings and training, demonstrating good team-building skills<br>

Additional skills and qualifications<br>
•	Ability to deal effectively with disciplinary issues<br>
•	Ability to form positive interpersonal relationships with people in various roles<br>
•	Good communication, problem solving and confliction resolution techniques<br>
•	A solid understanding of cultural communities<br>
•	Strong organization and written skills.   Facility with the computer<br>

Job Conditions:<br>
•	$16.50 per hour (approximate)<br>
•	Full-time Monday through Friday (35 hours).  Some flexibility required<br>
