The Society for the Protection of Animals Canada is a national group that works to protect animals through education and lobbying. Our mandate is to educate the public about choices they can make in their lives which positively impact the environment and all living beings.
About us:
Working for S.P.A. Canada is a fun outdoor job. Our public outreach agents and supervisors work at information kiosks located downtown Montréal.
About you:
Bilingualism and being vegetarian or vegan (or a strong interest in going vegetarian or vegan) are assets.
We are presently filling these positions as:
- Team Supervisors
Potential candidates need to have previous sales and team management experience. Successful supervisors will be hard-working, autonomous, friendly, outgoing and goal-oriented. Supervisors will work to help agents achieve team goals, solve problems and will be positive team leaders.
- Public Outreach Agents
Successful candidates will be hard-working, outgoing, professional, sociable, autonomous, positive and have a minimum knowledge of social justice issues, especially animal rights. Agents will work to educate the public about pertinent animal and environmental issues through discussion, campaign promotion, petitioning and leafleting.
Full and part-time positions are available. Students are welcome.
