Hey everyone. We're a new band that's just starting out (singer/guitarist/keys, bass/vocals, drummer) and we're looking for a guitarist to complete our line-up. We're all in our early 20s and we're looking for someone in about that same age range (18-25). Our main influences, band wise, are Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, The Hold Steady, Bruce Springsteen, The Gaslight Anthem, The Clash, The Jam, The Replacements, Frank Turner, Cursive, Alkaline Trio, The Weakerthans and The Constantines. We've had a couple practices and have started writing some tunes, and it's looking like we're somewhere in the indie/punk sound. We're looking for someone to do this seriously and isn't just looking for a fun jam now and then (although our jams are pretty fun, I think) and we're also looking for someone who's easy going and we can hang out with outside of a band context or go for a beer after practice or whatever. We also really like the idea of this being a project where everyone has equal say in what is played and written and everyone is involved with what's going on in the band. If you can sing (lead or backup) or can write songs (music and/or lyrics) that would be an added bonus. Multiple singers and songwriters is a good thing.
