To the group of firemen who went out for lunch on Friday, Nov 6.
I pulled up to the parkinglot of a deli called La Tratoria on Chemin St.Marie in Kirkland. As I turned off the car ignition, you (and your posy) walked in front of my car heading to the fire truck. I got out of my car with my friends and was heading towards the deli. I turned around to look at you. As the truck was pulling away, I saw you looking out the passenger window. You smiled & I smiled back. I looked away and looked back to see if you were still looking- you were. You waved and smiled as the truck was pulling away very slowly :)
the truck turned out of the parking lot and I have been smitten ever since. All I could think about was your smile and wave. I remember you were all wearing blue tshirts that said
Toronto in the back. I was wearing jeans and a black leather jacket.
I do not know which fire station you came from, but tried to find a number to the local fire stations. I think you may be part of the 54 station. I tried to lookup your number but found nothing. Called the city of Kirkland and they could not provide me with a direct number. I dont know if your part of the fire station on St.Charles or the one on St.Jean's. If either of the stations read this 'miss connections' - please let each other know.
I dont know if this message will ever get to you, but know that you made this girl smile for days to come. Hopefully, I can get more than just a wave. Maybe a date??
