Web and graphic designer for artist studio.
Four-month contract, with possibility to become permanent, starts November 16, 2009. 40 hours per week, daily from 10 to 6 with some flexibility.
Designer will work from our studio on St-Laurent street, in the plateau, Montréal. Will get top of the line mac computer.
Spoken and written French and English. Competent, organized, motivated, independent.
Absolute requirements:
Mastery of Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop.
Client-side programming e.g. Javascript, CSS, XML
Macintosh-centric but multi-platform scope, including mobile.
Scanners, digital photography, printers, colour profiles.
Proficiency on a 3D modelling application
Potential assets:
Final Cut Pro Studio, xdcam cameras.
Aperture
Rest of the Adobe Creative suite, in particular InDesign and Illustrator
Apache server, linux, perl, java
Vectorworks or AutoCAD
We are an art studio, with 7 employees and we do digital installation.
