We are seeking a part time representative to work in the local music scene.

The position consists of running Supernova’s shows and meetings in your area.

Ideal Candidate would be in their mid 20's, knows how to run concerts, doesn't mind dealing with young bands aged 17-20.

Looking for someone to start asap.

Main Duties include:
Running/Stage Managing the show:
Running 2-3 different meetings with the bands before the show which take about 15 min.
Payment/Dealing with venue.
Settling with Bands.
Holding/Transportation of backline. (Small Drum Kit, Small Guitar and Bass Amp.)

We are a music company located in Toronto and have a 16 year track record in Canada and have been expanding into the United States over the last 4 years. We hold more than 250 gigs across Canada and the United States, cementing relationships with some major industry players along the way. Bands, agencies, record labels have been flocking to us as a way to access new talent, a young demographic, and a mushrooming web network.

Locally we are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person who will undertake local production of our shows.

This entails:
- Finding new bands
- Dealing with bands who are involved in the program
- Show Production
- Stage Managing
- Creating and submitting reports
- Liaising with venues
- Promotions

This is a paid part-time position that is perfect for a student schedule or someone that wants to get into concert production for the first time. Regular phone meetings with supervisor will be required to ensure a quality internship experience for both the Local Rep and the bands playing our shows.

The applicant must:

* Be enthusiastic
* Be able to multi-task
* Be self-motivated, as they will be managed remotely from Toronto, Canada
* Good working knowledge with the internet and Microsoft Office Suite
* Be familiar with production of live shows
* Have knowledge of local music scene
* Be able to network with bands, venues, etc
