We are conducting a study of adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. We are inviting MEN between the ages of 18 and 45 who have been treated with ADD or ADHD medications (i.e. Ritalin) in CHILDHOOD and continue to experience significant problems with being: fidgety or restless, impulsive, easily frustrated, “spacey” or distractible, forgetful and disorganized. Participants are required to have been on an ADD or ADHD medication for at least 1 year, but to be no longer receiving this type of treatment.
Participation involves a screening diagnostic interview, a physical exam with routine screening biological investigations, PET and MRI scans, and psychological tests relevant to ADD or ADHD. Participants will receive one oral dose of Dexedrine, as part of the PET scan test. Participants will be compensated for loss of revenue.
