To whom it may concern,
I've just moved to Montreal to pursue a career in film and video and am looking for work experience in such a diverse and exciting field.
I'm therefore not looking for a particular job whether that be filming or editing etc. but am open to working in whichever capacity you need me, as an intern in the general field of film and video.
I'm a 21 male, just moved to Mile End from Victoria BC and have my own Sony HD handy cam. Whether it be an indie or art-house production (my natural orientation) or something involved in advertising and promotion, I really can't stress how much i'd like the experience of working in this area.
I'm an Anglophone (slowly working on my French since I moved two months ago) and have a great imagination and adventurous spirit. I'm also not afraid to grind at the computer, working in the editing process.
To wrap this up, I also can work from home with Final Cut Pro which I have a solid yet basic understanding of.
I'm happy to meet in person, or chat over the internet/phone and also, to provide a detailed resume.
