This is a serious post believe it or not.
I cannot find a really HOT mustard in this city. Even in ChinaTown EVERY single store directed me to Wasabi.
Wasabi, as far as I know is Japanese and is NOT made from mustard. It is horseradish and whatever and can remove the top of your head if you're not judicious about it's use and I love it and there is no shortage of it in Montreal.
I want a MUSTARD that can do the same thing. I want it to make me do the "Eye" thing like the Warner Bros. cartoons.
"Soup & Noodles" on Monkland sometimes has this head-banging treat in little packets but sometimes it's like vanilla pudding.
Nuttin' nada zip zilch no kick whatever.
Anybody got any ideas ?

I am a secondary 5 student making a documentary on domestic abuse, to teach girls my age and make them understand the importance of it. This would consist of a 15 to 20 minute filmed interview, answering several questions and getting a chance to share your experience. Whether it you have experienced it first hand, or had a family member experience it, my goal is to let girls know what their options if they are dealing with this directly, as well as showing to boys my age what the aftermath is and tragic events that follow. POLICE: LEGALIZED CRIMINALS

I've been in many situations in my early twenties and even recent, where I have experience police brutality, descrimination and harassment; so I know first hand in someways how police take the power of the badge and use it to be above the law. I believe that police officers are legalized kidnappers(abducters), and murderers and that the cities Justice system allow them to get away with the ill treatment of citizens that they were meant 'to protect and to serve'. I believe that when a police officer in Montreal is not falsely arresting someone based on the color of a person's skin, or their financial social status in society as a citizen, the police are shooting someone with taser guns. Also when a police officer is not investigating a murder or a missing person, they're out murdering or Kidnapping people because of a person's appearance within society.

I have been led to believe that a person who becomes a police officer has something to do with a psychological problem from a childhood belief in thinking that they will become a hero like the ones that they see on television as kids; such as, Miami Vice, Starsky and Hutch, etc. What I do notice is that you never see too many police officers nowadays as heroes; because they're not really out there saving people's lives; they're usually there trying to acuse people of things, trying to look for trouble or as usual create it, by making a situation bigger than it usual is, blowing things amazingly out of proportion. The people that really save the lives of others are the firefighters and the Ambulance workers and technicians, the police are only out there finding people dead or killing people. I always wonder what made them want to become police officers. Were they abused as a child? or were they picked on a lot by other people, when they were hall monitors in school?

The police are always trying to get psychological help for people that they arrest and there are no police officers on the job with psychology degrees and who are doctors; so who are they to say on the spot who are the criminally insane and arrest them? I think the justice system is ignoring the fact that they are avoiding the psychological evaluation and help of their own para-legals, their own police officers, and I think they should have a system that evaluates the procedures of the court system where lawyers are connected to the police on the case.

How does the system know if a police officer they hire is not criminally insane themselves, and don't tell me that the internal affairs would be able to track the bad cops; because a internal affairs officer is still a police officer and they will always have each other's back. What should be placed on a higher priorty is the creation or the upholding of an external affairs and investigative system that could stop criminals even if they wear a badge.

Can anyone recommend a good place in the downtown area to hold a wedding dinner that isn't too expensive? We are pressed for time. The wedding is to take place on December 19th. We are looking at places near Old Montreal as the wedding will be at the Palais de Justice. We don't want anything fancy. Just a basic dinner in a decent room for 45 or 50 people. Any suggestions? Cost must be less than $100 per person. We appreciate your help. Thanks.

HollaBack Canada is re-launching and we need your stories.

Like the site that started it all, HollaBackNYC.com, HollaBackCAN is a place where women can post stories and photos of street harassment. Whistles, whispers, leers, hisses, kisses, gropes, grabs, propositions � the kinds of things most Canadian women can (sadly) count on experiencing the second they hit puberty. Ideally, you'd whip out your cell phone and snap a pic of the creep that we can post online, but it's fine if you just send your story with a photo of where it took place, or no photo at all.

Please include your location (or at least your province). We only use your first name, by default, but will use a pseudonym if you prefer.

The site will likely launch in early December.
