ERP Analyst will be the liaison between Business users and IT developers. He/she will assist with the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program. The ERP Analyst must customize and configure workflow to allow the integration of web eCommerce applications and test ERP layout to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs. Typically, the ERP Analyst will specialize in one or more business areas such as Finance, Accounting, Order Processing Sales Support or Inventory Management.
Essential Duties:
- Work with system users to determine optimal business processes and system needs
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents, detailing desired business processes and system functionality
- Prepare design documents detailing the desired implementation of systems and processes
- Present new designs to IT staff to ensure they are properly implemented
- Assists in the preparation of test plans for ERP System
- Train System users on the use of new systems and business processes
- Assist in the preparation of user guides and training materials
- May act as Project Manager on certain projects within area(s) of specialization
Required Qualifications:
- Experience as Business Analyst working on ERP systems is required
- Experience participating in a major ERP rollout is desired
- Experience with Netsuite
- Any Computer Programming background is a plus
- SQL Database knowledge is a plus
