Yo!
Okay so here's the deal: I am participating in an international photography competition organized by Lomography.com called The Great LC-A Race. They're giving the chance to 100 lomographers around the world (including myself) to use the LC-A camera for the first time. There are 10 teams of 10 people around the world that are participating in this contest. There is 1 camera per team and right now I have North America Team 1's LC-A. I have been given the theme of vandalism/street art/graffiti and I have until November 6th to shoot photos with this theme.
I have already been down near St. Henri and to Papineau near Pont Jacques Cartier. Obviously I'll be hitting up the alleys behind Foufs and the plateau but I was thinking that if any graf artists out there wanted to showcase their work, they could tell me specifically where their piece is and I will go and photograph it. I am only allowed to submit 10 photos so your work has to be tight! I am looking to win this round (I am competing with 9 other people around the world with this theme) and I am trying to photograph as much graffiti as possible, and the dopest graffiti Montréal has to show. I am pretty sure that I am the only person in Montreal that is participating in this race, so I want to show the rest of the world what we're all about/how cool our city is.
Photos that are submitted will be scanned and uploaded to lomography.com which means that they will be viewed by a whole bunch of people, including some judges, and viwed all around the world. It's definitely a cool way to show your work. Trust.
