Staff Accountant

Kerr Financial is looking for a new team member to join the Kerr family. This rewarding opportunity exists for a very organized, detail oriented and analytical individual who is client focused and thrives in a professional financial environment where personal integrity and approach are key values.

This position will appeal to accountants with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in accounting. Must have experience in preparation of Canadian and US personal tax returns. Familiarity with preparing corporate tax returns and reviewing Holding companies and Trust financial statements is important. The right candidate must be proficient in Caseware, TaxPrep (Personal, Trust and Corporate), Quickbooks, Quicken and Excel. Knowledge of Word and Outlook are assets.

The successful candidate will report to Manager, Corporate and Client Accounting and will be held accountable for providing accounting and tax services in a timely manner for our accounting clients. The candidate should be able to work autonomously at times and be able to analyze problems and able to resolve discrepencies.

Location: Downtown Montreal
