Senior Accounts Payable Technician
Our Client is one of the fastest growing Logistics companies in Canada, with a client base from various segments of the supply chain including manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and retailers. With a growing customer base after six years, a modest start has turned into a huge success. They are now in need of an experienced Accounts Payables Technician, who can manage all aspects and steps of the Accounts Payables process, reconcile and analyze payables and participate in the month end process.
Primary Responsibilities;
-Match the supplier’s invoices with appropriate documentation
-Code, verify, and post invoices and expenses reports
-Prepare checks and ensure their distribution
-Analyze the payable entries posted to the balance sheet & follow up
-Prepare backup documentation
-Account reconciliation
-Prepare month end accruals and schedules
-Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Requirements;
-Experience within a 3PL or Carrier is an asset
-Strong PC skills including Excel and Word
-Strong organizational, and problem solving skills
-Ability to meet deadlines
-Team player
-Detail oriented
