Position: Overseas Purchasing Analyst / Coordinator
We are a successful company in the consumer products industry and are looking to hire an Overseas Purchasing Analyst to be the link between our production department and our finance group.
You will support the production department while being responsible to provide the finance group with details and documentation for overseas payments.
Job description:
• Understand and coordinate status of import orders
• Prepare documentation to support overseas payments and ensure that payments are made on a timely basis
• Act of payment coordinator for status of payments (LC/TT )
• Manage and follow-up on outstanding claims
•Correspond with overseas suppliers
Job requirements:
• Experience in a high volume import environment
• Very comfortable working with Microsoft Excel (formulas, formats, etc...)
• Experience in accounting, product costing and dealing with payments
